Sales Key Account

Job Brief

Manage the existing customers achieving sales turnover and profit targets and develop prospect getting new projects/business assignment (mainly Automotive Customers with an annual portfolio 25 – 35 Mio/y).

Duties and responsabilities

  • Manage the business portfolio of customers and prospects assigned;
  • Manage Multi-Year Contracts with customer:
    • Annual Price negotiation;
    • Cost Information provided to customer;
    • Capacity agreements;
    • Technical Changes;
    • IATF requirements related to communication with an Automotive Customer.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape: competitors, markets size, market trends;
  • Seek new business opportunities with current and prospects customers;
  • Quote new Offers;
  • Conduct commercial negotiations:
    • Lead the resolution of disputes with customers;
    • Enforce commercial agreements;
    • Charge customers with all deviations from contracted agreements;
    • Implement pricing policies.
  • Actively assist with the preparation of Annual Sales Budgets, Forecasts and multi-year Plans and define the related action plan to assure the target achievement.
  • Meet regularly with customers/prospects at their premises;
  • Visit relevant trade shows and events;
  • Manage all the relevant business data into CRM system

Required personal skills

  • Relations and negotiation skills at every company level and between various departments;
  • Strong decision-making skills and goal – oriented approach.

Required technical skills

  • Degree in Business or Engineering;
  • At least 5 years previous experience in same or similar position;
  • Proficient in English. The knowledge of the German language represents a plus.
